A suite of Approved Documents produced by the Government offer practical yet detailed guidance about fulfilling the technical requirements of the Regulations.

Brimble Lea has a significant amount of experience with obtaining full plans approval on behalf of clients where we have secured planning permission or where clients approach us independently for design services. Full plans approval is more expensive than a building notice but full plans and specifications enable clients to obtain accurate prices from contractors to carry out a development to specified standards and there is less chance of issues arising during the construction process.

Through the building regulations process, we will engage specialist consultants on behalf of our clients in areas such as structural engineering and energy assessments, as needed.
